Mapify is a young cloud-based product making a difference in the location intelligence landscape. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic UI/UX designer who can not only help to build a solid product but also can contribute with amazing ideas and help us lead the way.

 

At Mapify, the team defines, designs and leads the technical development of a large-scale, location intelligence cloud-based based product targeting real-world applications. Since Mapify is being developed by a Google partner company, don’t be surprised if you end up facing technologies such as real-time location services, big data, and machine learning, and even end up playing with augmented and virtual reality, who knows…

 

We are looking for a solid UI/UX professional, with experience in designing web and mobile solutions, to help design the future of our core products and customer solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • You will work with PO and PM to translate product vision, project requirements and/or user journeys into a world class UX and UI. If you design it, we will build it.

  • Plan and implement new designs, storyboards, and interactive prototypes

  • Participate in all product meetings to understand the product, their business goals, and step-by-step objectives

  • Communicate with customers to understand their business goals and objectives

  • Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions

  • Conduct ongoing user research

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in Adobe tools (Adobe XD highly valued) or similar tools, they help you to show us what our teams will be bringing to life

  • Strong business and customer value mindset, we want to make a difference in the world

  • Must be a team player, we treasure our amazingly friendly work environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to discuss and explain design choices

​Nice to Have

  • It would be great if besides the UX/UI skills, you also have some understanding and/or experience getting your hands dirty with some HTML5, CSS 3 and Javascript.

  • Icing on the cake:  experience with location based interfaces, such as layered location data, map based interfaces.
