50 Pride Parades Around The World 🌎 2025 Map

Sexual orientation and gender identity are fundamental to who we are. LGBTQIA+ rights are human rights. Yet, around the world, individuals continue to face discrimination simply for who they love, how they look, or who they are. Pride parades, which stand as powerful celebrations of identity and freedom, are no exception. They are often misunderstood and dismissed.

But Pride is resilient.

A pride parade is an outdoors demonstration event which celebrates LGBTQIA+ acceptance, achievements, rights and pride. Most parades take place in June to honor the Stonewall riots, a pivotal moment in LGBTQIA+ history.

On June 28, 1969, police raided the Stonewall Inn, a beloved gathering place for New York City's gay community. The community responded with days of protest. This defiant stand sparked the modern LGBTQIA+ liberation movement.
